One of the best parts of living in our community is enjoying the beautiful outdoors, but we aren’t the only ones who call this area home! Whether it’s a deer passing through or smaller critters making appearances, sharing our neighborhood with local wildlife is just part of daily life.
To help us navigate these encounters safely, we are excited to host the Town of Cary Animal Control for a special “Natural Neighbors” presentation.
When: Saturday, May 9th at 10:30 AM Where: The Clubhouse
What to Expect: The experts from Animal Control will be leading a discussion on a variety of important topics, including:
- Co-existing Peacefully: The best practices for getting along with the local wildlife we see around our homes.
- Safety First: Actionable tips to keep both ourselves and our pets safe while enjoying the outdoors.
- Local Rules: A helpful refresher on town ordinances, such as leash laws and what they mean for pet owners.
A quick note: For those who wanted to submit specific questions or topics for the officers to cover, the deadline to send those to realcsk@gmail.com was Saturday, May 2nd. However, we will attempt to add questions submitted by Wednesday, May 6th to the list.
Grab a cup of coffee and head down to the clubhouse this Saturday morning to learn how we can all be better neighbors to our local wildlife. See you there!
